Where all that blackness come from? (2021)
Série drobných experimentů a performancí probíhajících za zavřenými dveřmi ateliéru během lockdownu v zimě 2020/2021. Drobné, skicovité úvahy spojené s tématem účasti a významu přítomnosti v prostoru, který nikdo jiný neobývá. Je existence stále existencí, pokud není potvrzena pozorováním zvenčí? Je výtvarné dílo výtvarným dílem bez diváka? Snaha odpovědět si na tyto otázky byla hnacím motorem pro vznik této série drobných objektů a videí. Jednotlivé práce jsou propojeny nejen videozáznamem, ale také médii černé tuše a skla.
A series of small experiments and performances taking place behind closed studio doors during the lockdown in the winter of 2020/2021. Small, sketch-like reflections on the theme of participation and the importance of presence in a space that no one else inhabits. Is existence still existence if it is not confirmed by outside observation? Is a work of art still a work of art without a spectator? The effort to answer these questions was the driving force behind the creation of this series of small objects and videos. The individual works are connected not only through video, but also through the mediums of black ink and glass.
