Disk (2015)
Dózy Disk vznikly ve spolupráci s libereckou firmou Evans Atelier u příležitosti výstavy Glassmania, která se konala v rámci Londýnské designérské přehlídky Tent 2015. Jedná se o lehané skleněné tvary s dekoracemi, které byly vytvořeny specifickou technologií vyvinutou ateliérem Evans. Tato technika zdobení umožňuje dosáhnout široké škály barev i struktur tím, že vnitřní strana má povrch skleněného polotovaru, zatímco vnější povrch je reliéfní a jeho hrubost, lesk a barvu lze vybrat z mnoha možností. Název Disk odkazuje nejen na čočkovitý tvar nádob, ale také na jejich účel – disk jako prostor pro uložení.
Sada dóz je vždy tvořena dvěma nádobami s víky, které je možné do sebe vložit. Sada vznikla ve třech barevných variantách: London (kovově šedá a lávově rudá), Baroque (zašlé zlato a modrá) a Treasure (černá a plátkové zlato). Každá z dóz je opatřena páskem, který upevňuje víko – u větší dózy má pásek čtyři ramena, u menší tři. I pásky vznikly ve dvou variantách, a to v kožené s přezkami a v textilní s elastickými částmi.

The bowls with lids called Disc were created in cooperation with the company Evans Atelier based in Liberec for the occasion of the Glassmania exhibition at the 2015 Tent London Design Festival. The slumped glass bowls were decorated by a specific technique developed by Evans Atelier. The technique allows for a wide range of colours and structures: the inner surface has the surface of a glass semi-product while the outer relief surface can be made with varying degrees of roughness and lustre and in many different colours. The name Disc refers to the lenticular shape of the bowls as well as to their purpose – disc as storage space.
The set consists of two lidded bowls, one of which can fit into the other. They were created in three colour variants: London (metallic grey and lava red), Baroque (faded gold and blue) and Treasure (black and plated gold). Each of the bowls has a strap for securing the lid – the bigger one with four arms, the smaller one with three. The straps also have two variants: leather with buckles and a textile elastic one.
